Chuck and Britt are great hosts. Ez in and Out. Parking was never an issue even during Saint Patty's Day. Beds were comfy. Uber is recommended for downtown , especially for the wayback from bars and restaurants. Overall nice, clean, spacious place.

Great place. Great location. There was a party in the next unit but quiet time hours were respected. As a health care professional, I have been on travel assignments where I needed to sleep during the day in order to work overnight at a hospital. If a quiet day is an absolute must would keep this in mind. Also I was there for one night and hardly used any of all that was offered so the cleaning fee was higher than my needs but if someone is coming with their dogs or kids then definitely warranted. The hosts were very responsive from booking to checkout. I would stay again but problem not with my 3 kids since I wouldn’t want to disturb my neighbors.

Great central location for exploring the different sections of Savannah and surroundings. Apartment was very clean and well stocked with plenty of towels, soap, shampoo etc. Very easy parking. Great communication from owners.

Chuck & Britt's place was perfect for our quick getaway to Savannah. The place was decorated perfectly and still had that old home charm that you would expect staying in historic savannah. We were so glad that we could bring our dogs with us and the area was great for walking. Forsyth Park was a quick 10min walk, which was a perfect Sunday activity for us . There is a Kroger grocery right around the corner so that was super convenient too! We were a little hesitant at first of the area based on some other reviews, but we had no issues and I felt safe the entire time - even with walking the dogs at night. Again though - just be mindful of your surroundings as you would in anyplace! Communication was great - we had a little mixup with our door code and Britt called me immediately to help alleviate the problem. All of our questions were answered super fast too! Everything was clean and the beds were super comfy. We were very pleased with our stay here and would definitely come back!

Really nice pet friendly accommodations. Location is cool too, it’s roughly a mile walk to the edge of from downtown, so out of the hustle but also just a couple blocks from the amazing beautiful Forsyth Park. Parking was easy, beds were comfy and two nice balconies to chill on.

The apartment was prefect with plenty of space and located walking distance to parks and historic district.

Adorable unit and dog friendly. Decor is super cute. Check-in and out are as easy as it gets and communication with hosts couldn’t be beat. Unit is second-floor and up steep steps, so just make sure you know whether that works for your group. Also, while the location is only 2 blocks from Forsyth park, which is awesome, just be aware that it’s also just a block off a very busy thoroughfare and not where you want to be strolling around alone at night (I point this so that if you bring your dog you need to be aware in case you need to walk them at night).

This was, by far, the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had. It’s exquisite in its style and the warmth it provides. A perfect romantic getaway and within walking distance of an incredible park and just a short drive from so many fun things to do. Just so so nice!

Great place to stay. The inside of the place was awesome, probably the most comfortable bed we’ve had in an AirBnb. It was a great size place, great bathroom and kitchen. We were little worried about this part of the neighborhood when we pulled up to park with what it looked like down the street, but it was safe and everyone seemed nice. Top notch AirBnB, would definitely recommend.

This was a really special Airbnb. The house was decorated spectacularly and there was a lot of thought put into it. It was fully equipped and the beds were super comfortable. Just a short walk to Forsyth Park which was awesome for our pup. And a very short Uber/cab ride to Riverstreet and other fun places. We would definitely stay here again!

I had a lovely stay in Savannah with my family! The unit is a good size and has a fun vibe. It came with all the bathroom and kitchen amenities that would be expected. It’s a bit outside the main downtown area, but it’s still walking distance to Forsyth Park and the free trolley that heads into downtown.

Awesome stay! Host had great communication. Stairwell little narrow, little (Website hidden by Airbnb) beware for older folks. My mom just had one of us walk in front of her for balance, she said she was fine though. Street noise was little loud but there were fans we could use, so they came in handy to drown out that noise. We will helpfully try host’s other places, all look awesome!

This Airbnb is beautiful inside and very accommodating and comfortable. As far as location, everything was at least a 15-20 minute walk so depending on where you wanna go in Savannah I’d prepare to walk quite a bit or drive/Uber. The neighborhood is quiet and parking was not an issue for us. Chuck and Britt were very quick to answer any questions I had, which is convenient in a case of emergency. I’d book here again if I were to come back to Savannah!

What an incredible experience it was to stay at this property! I was captivated by the pictures of this place online and am happy to report that they are completely spot on! Of course, I wanted a good deal and a property that is in a convenient location, but the bonus was having all of that AND a place that is incredibly well-decorated and very cozy. I literally did not want to leave...despite the awful weather we had during our stay LOL. To top it off, Britt and Chuck kept the lines of communication open from booking to check out. I would HIGHLY recommend this property to others, even if that means it might be booked the next time I visit Savannah haha. Fantastic value!!

If you love Savannah and it’s charm like I do, you will certainly love your stay here. The owners decorated it so nicely! I enjoyed the way it was styled (especially the master bedroom…. Made me feel fancy!). It is convenient to many great places in the historical district. We opted to walk to river street and back each day and it was only a 30 minute walk. This was a great way to exercise to combat the massive amount of delicious food we ate. If you book this location, I can certify that you won’t be disappointed.

This place is a social media queens dream! Beautifully decorated. Every single room, even the bathroom, is perfect for a unique photo op. Lots of natural sunlight during the day, comfortable beds, beautiful washer and dryer. Hosts were incredibly fast at responding to a few questions I had throughout my stay. Wish I had more time there to have coffee on the balcony. I don’t know if there are many parts of Savannah that feel safe for walking around at night, especially alone, but this isn’t one of them as it’s a little off the beaten path. Thank you all for the accommodations!

Lots of charm … the place is beautiful and within walking distance to great restaurants and attractions … very spacious and well decorated … super clean … the list goes on and on. Great stay for a couple of nights in Savannah. The place is as shown in the listing and fit our needs for a pet friendly option. Communication was great both before and during our stay.
There is quite a bit of construction on the street and while noise wasn’t a big issue, there was a good bit of construction materials, broken glass, etc in the immediate area when we took the dog for a walk. Will be great when it’s all completed though.
Otherwise a good stay and we’d be happy to rent this place again.

Chuck's place was awesome. The pictures don't do it justice. It's decorated wonderfully and offers perfect mid-century modern charm. I would definitely recommend checking out his other properties, as we definitely will. This particular place is in close proximity to some great historical attractions and delicious restaurants too. The park is just a few blocks away and is definitely worth the walk as well!
Communication with one of the property managers, Jonathan, was absolutely seamless. He was so kind and worked with us to make sure everything was great! There are also plenty of reminders to move your car on Friday morning to avoid ticketing and plenty of resources around to help you navigate Savannah.
Also, the beds were so comfortable! The living room is also cozy for a movie night with some great local takeout. Make sure to bring plenty of water and toilet paper, as there was only one roll in the bathroom for a lot of butts lol.
HEAT: It does get hot in Savannah in the summer, but there are plenty of cooling units and fans to keep you cool.
Disclaimer: The entire block the house is in is being renovated, so you will for sure hear some construction throughout your stay, but that does not outweigh the value you get for staying in a beautiful, historic area and in a peaceful home with lots of good, natural light!

So much yesss!!!!!!! Highly recommend! The interior design is impeccable. Loved how they kept the originality and character with the renovations and updates!!!! The beds are super comfy, and the place is super clean (coming from a resident clean freak) Response time is rather instant, and they are willing to help every step of the way. We only stayed overnight for a weekend getaway, but felt right at home! Will definitely stay again, and will probably try Chuck’s other areas as they look just as perfect!

We had a lovely stay at this Airbnb. The location was very convenient to all that we wanted to explore and the tips on street parking during the weekly cleaning helped us avoid a parking ticket. The house is beautiful and surprisingly big. The one note is that if you’re a light sleeper, the house is of the era that you can hear people below you. The first night we heard some serious activity around 2am but other nights were fine. I think it comes with the character of the home. Very clean and beautiful sunlight poured through the home. Beds were comfortable, too. Would stay again!

Not only was the location perfect but as you enter Chuck’s Airbnb you feel as though you’re staying in an apartment from a movie! First of all, the beds were absolutely amazing and just what you’d want to come home to after a long day of exploring Savannah. Then you have the balcony access set up with plenty of seating and a great vibe! We loved the simple touches around the space like the hardware on the cabinets, wall decor, and hanging swing! The accommodations such as the SmartTV were nice as well when you need a night in. The location is a short walk to Forsyth Park and a short drive to downtown. 10/10 recommend.

I had a lovely stay at Chuck’s place. The four poster bed was like a fairy tale and it was walking distance to everywhere I wanted to go. Everything was very clean and I would definitely recommend it for your weekend getaway!

I absolutely loved staying at this airbnb - it was beautiful, spotlessly clean, comfortable & well-located - a lovely short walk to Forsyth Park with my dog, and nothing in Savannah was far away. Street parking was always easy and there is a bonus deck off the kitchen! One thing to note is that noise travels easily between the two units, and it's a crapshoot who's going to be in the other unit. During my week-long stay, the people downstairs were conscientious & respectful, but unfortunately the people who replaced them in our last night were not! Chuck & Jonathan reached out to them right away upon our request and they were thankfully quieter after that.

Always great to stay at one of Chuck's rentals when we are in town. We have stayed over 3 times now and it is nice to know that the stay will be consistent every time. Not all rentals are the same and can really affect your entire trip. We love the fun decor, comfy beds, and comfortable vibe. Even our dog enjoys getting the opportunity to stay somewhere she feels comfortable too!

This place was nice. the master bedroom is luxurious and the rest of the place is maybe better than the pictures let on. i would recommend taking your dog down to forsyth park, because the yards in savannah have a difficult time getting enough sun to be of any use.

This place is amazing. I would definitely stay here again. Just note that the house is at the edge of a gentrification zone and the gentrification has not quite hit the house yet. But don’t be worried. I felt safe and, if you walk just a block down the street, you feel like you are in the heart of Savannah.

Chuck’s Place is great. It’s an older home/duplex that is super cute, clean, and exactly they type of place you want to stay in Savannah. We were able to walk our dogs to Forsyth park each morning and the neighborhood felt safe. There’s plenty of street parking and we were able to easily access all the things we wanted to do.
The only down side was the neighbors below us. Despite being gone most of the day and in bed by 9, they still complained up the noises we made (walking and going down the stairs). It’s an old home, it makes noise, and it’s a shared space. You can expect to hear your neighbors a little bit, so just be mindful and enjoy! And hopefully you don’t get a bunch of Karens that stay below you!

Excellent place to stay. Really clean and well done. The king size bed was very soft and comfy! The big front porch with porch swing is a big bonus too!

Near to river street and if you have to take a Lyft it’s in the center of everything! The grocery store, food, and bars are within walking distance. Wet willies & river street treats was my favorite locations. I walked there every day. The communication is amazing! I felt like I was home! I will be rebooking whenever I return to Georgia! Thank you so much for everything! Couldn’t have chose a better place to stay!

The proximity of this place is outstanding! We walked to Forsyth Park and it was a quick drive to the Riverfront and Bonaventure Cemetery. We loved staying in a place with so much history and charm. It’s beautifully decorated, has everything you need as far as kitchen and bathroom amenities, and was the perfect size for two couples. We also always travel with our little chihuahua, so we appreciated that it’s dog-friendly. We’d definitely stay here again on future trips to Savannah!

We really enjoyed our long weekend here. The location was convenient and the home’s interior was really comfortable. We appreciated offerings like stand fans, extra towels, and a kitchen with all the basics. The area can get a bit noisy on weekend nights, so consider using the provided fans or white noise apps on your phone to dim any sounds. Street parking was easy; we never had trouble getting a space. The internet went out one night, which is a problem when it’s your only TV access and there’s a big game on and your husband is sweating a little, but our hosts were super responsive and fixed it that night. (The internet stayed mostly on afterwards, but was not as reliable as it had been before the initial outage, so maybe have a backup wifi plan / hotspot if you’re considering this space and working remotely.) This home is a great base for exploring Savannah!

If you can get past the neighborhood you will love this place. At no time did we feel unsafe, the house was extremely clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The response time with the owners was extremely quick and everything was in walking distance . Highly recommended, we would book this location again.

Chuck’s place was awesome! There was plenty of parking and it’s about a twenty minute tops walk to Bay St. The apartment was super clean and stylish and a good place to hang in between explorations. Chuck was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had as well during my stay.

Chuck’s place is about 4-5 blocks from Forsythe Park. The apartment is located in what seemed like an older, historic building which has a great mix of old and new. The overall decor and touches were well-done. Check in was easy and there ample parking on the street 1 we had 3 cars. Overall, we enjoyed the overnight stay.

Chuck’s place was simply amazing! They truly thought of every detail to make our short trip to Savannah memorable. Not only is the design super unique and interesting, all the amenities of home were provided. Chuck made getting around Savannah very convenient by providing bikes at no charge! We were able to ride through the center of Forsyth park, only 2 minutes away, all the way down to River st. The best part was that Chuck let me use the onsite EV charger, saving us the hassle of going to the Tesla charger 30 minutes out of our way. This place is a gem, don’t hesitate to book it!

We really enjoyed our stay in this adorable carriage house! It was very comfortable, well styled, and close to so much. It represents the historic Savannah area well. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting a unique alternative to the typical hotel accommodations.

Very nice place.

Great apartment for a couple or a couple of friends! There was a full kitchen that we did not have the opportunity to use but would be useful for a longer stay. Everything that was needed was provided, from linens and washer and dryer to coffee and even a brita pitcher in the fridge. Everything was very clean. The balcony out the window of the bedroom was a fun spot to hang as the weather was perfect! The apartment was off the beaten path for a couple of blocks. But just a short walk to Forsyth park and a 10-15 minute walk to downtown restaurants and bars. We all had a nice short trip, meeting our friends halfway from Florida.

Chuck’s place was great! We stayed here while working remotely. The wifi was fast, beds were comfy & the kitchen was well equipped. Be aware this carriage house faces an alley (very common in Savannah) & some visitors might find that uncomfortable. But it’s in an amazing location walking distance to Forsyth Park, downtown historic district & Bull St restaurants.

Our stay was excellent! The place was perfect for our stay. The owners were excellent communicators…quickly responding to any questions we had. The apartment is in an alley - so just be aware of that…especially if traveling alone. We had no issues and thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Savannah.

Very clean and comfortable. Beds were comfy with nice pillows. Like a lot of reviews previously state the immediate area is a little sketchy but we had absolutely no problems and felt ok walking late at night. Neighbors were really nice. We would definitely stay again, loved it!

This was a hidden gem. It's small but perfect for the two fo us. Excellent use of space and our host was great. Checked in to make sure everything was good. I would definitely stay here again!

Such a cute place!

Simple Cozy & clean place with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Communication was quick. Its about a mile walk to DT, a mile the other way to some cool neighborhoody spots, and 10-15 min walk to the grocery store which was nice. The immediate outdoors of the apartment probably isnt what you'll expect as its on the 'lane' in between a few major streets.... but still fine, super safe, and nice location once you get a grip on the broader neighborhood (including the park, which is super close).

I planed a 2 night stop on my way up north. Savannah was just so lovely (and a big nor’easter was happening up north).
So I asked about staying longer another week.
They told me they had a place around the corner they manage. And spoke to the owners. They helped accommodate me with my 2 dogs.
So I can enjoy one of the best impromptu vacations I’ve ever had!!

Chuck's place is really as good as it looks in the photos. It was well equipped with all the things needed for a short stay. The location is not that great if you have to walk by yourself at night. Although it is close to Forsyth Park which is a really cute neighborhood. The host is very responsive, welcoming, and helpful.

Absolutely stunning place to stay in Savannah! Loved it. Loved the interior of the house. Everything was on-point. I would recommend this place at a first priority to stay in Savannah, GA.

Chuck’s place is really nice. It is comfortable and clean and really well done. The bed is comfortable and there is room for suitcases. It definitely enhanced our visit to Savannah. We loved the available parking and the EV Charger because we have a Tesla. The location is within easy walking distance of Forsyth Park but I am not sure I would feel safe me walking here at night. The hosts were great. Very responsive and helpful. We would stay here again.

Cozy space for a quick getaway. Figured out that the place was actually a straight shot to Forsyth Park the last day so planning to head back in the spring.

I chose this place for its proximity to Forsyth Park and for its vibrant decor. It did not disappoint!! My daughter and I loved our weekend stay! We were able to walk back and forth to River Street and everywhere in between. The host clearly communicated before, during, and after our stay. The place was spotlessly clean with ample towels, appliances, etc. Parking was always available and well-lit at night. Highly recommend!

Chuck’s place was not only clean, comfortable, and quiet for a good nights rest, but it was aesthetically pleasing and gave me great ideas for a future personal renovation of mine. The details behind the design were carefully planned and & would absolutely recommend this place for a quick weekend trip or a longer stay for sure.

We had a wonderful time in Savannah. Chuck and Britt were both incredible hosts. They were available, communicative, and flexible with us. The apartment was incredibly clean, and comfortable. A big plus was the fact that the place has two bikes which we took advantage of to discover Savannah. The apartment is slightly off the beaten path, which was totally fine with us. It was still close the park, and a few minutes walk to the historic district.

We really enjoyed our stay in Chuck and Britt's place! It is beautifully decorated, and they have taken the time to make sure you have everything you need in the unit. They were also both very engaged in ensuring that we were doing well and didn't need anything throughout our stay. The park is a few blocks away, and the heart of downtown and the riverfront is a bit farther so if you are not wanting to do some walking, you may want to bike. There is also a hop on/hop off trolley system that has a stop that is at the other end of the park that is an option, and we found ubers easy to find and the drivers to be really pleasant!
Other reviews of the unit have made note of the neighborhood feeling a bit run down in areas. This area seemed to be a part of the ongoing revitalization, so there are places where some buildings have been restored/renovated and others have not. The parking and entrance are on an alleyway (which are plentiful in Savannah), so the appearance can be a bit deceiving if you are not used to areas where some houses/apartments face the alley. While there may have been some people walking around from time to time, that seemed to be common in the city as a whole, and even out late at night, we at no time ever felt unsafe walking in that area and in the area toward the park and historic downtown. It was a really wonderful stay and we hope to go back again soon!

Great place! Parking in space is a little tight for bigger vehicles. 2 bikes are available for use which was super helpful (bikes are not in the best shape, but usable!). Place was beautiful and gave me and my friend a good place to crash after all the exploring.

The place was perfect for 2 college friends to visit with each other but have separate bedrooms. The apartment had everything we needed for a weekend trip including parking and a patio. At first both of us weren't able to get a designated spot but there was plenty of on street parking as the hosts mention. I recommend taking a car if you are going to return at night. We felt safe and comfortable in this property.

Chuck's place was great. Exactly as picture. Great space for two and close to walk to places. Clean and great amenities. Great communication from start to finish. Would def recommend and would stay here again.

great place to stay and visit just off the beaten path

Went to Savannah to celebrate my 40th. Glad we choose Chuck's place. The place was fabulous. We really took in the décor of the apartment, so much, we were trying to find the surfboard they have hanging in the living room downtown. As a former NYer, I love to walk. So we walked from the place to downtown and to the river. Also, the DOT which is free is only a few blocks away from the place, so it helped us when we were tired. On Sunday, Forsyth Park which is a block or two away, had a farmers market. The hosts were beyond great and super communitive throughout our whole stay. The apartment, as I said, A++ for the décor and looked like everything in the pictures. We ate out every night, so never took advantage of the kitchen. It also had a nice little outdoor patio, which was cool. While there, we discovered the host has other properties in Charleston SC. Its on our list to visit down the road, so we are hoping to stay of one of their properties when we visit.

We recently stayed at Chuck’s place: Josephine's Carriage House, Apt. A, in Savannah Georgia.
The host and co-host Britt were very easy to reach and communicate with.
They went out of the way to suggest restaurants and provide info regarding Savannah as it was our first time there.
The apartment is well cared for, clean, well appointed with all one needs for a stay and as an added bonus has off street parking.
The apartment is an efficiency!
It works well for a short or weekend stay.
It’s tiny and only comfortable for 2.
We had great weather so we were able to get out and about, but if we were stuck in because of bad weather there isn’t much else to do other than watch TV.
But hay… It’s Savannah and you really didn’t come to stay in a room.
You came to explore and this apartment is ideal for it.
It’s all about getting out and walking around.
It was conveniently located and walking distance to Forsyth Park and many of the squares that Savannah is known for.
I’m not sure about the area at night as we did drive after dark to go out to dinner.
I highly recommend Cotton & Rye.
The food and service were so exceptional that we went back twice.
Ask for Margaret the manager as she was awesome.

All in All Chuck’s place/ Josephine’s Carriage house apt A is a 5 out of 5, just remember to bring your walking shoes as there is so much to see in Savannah that you won’t want to miss anything.

Perfect little stay in the heart of Savannah!
This property couldn’t be any better centralized to literally EVERYTHING! Ubering around was so simple and cheap.
The property itself was so charming. We had a great parking spot and really appreciated the lights in the parking area. The inside of the property was so dang cute, but it is small. My boyfriend was taken a back a little by the size, but I thought it was perfect for the two of us. Every detail as described was true. The bed was comfortable, the washer and dryer was much needed as it rained half of our trip, and the bathroom/kitchen was adorable.
Chuck and Britt were so communicative! They made sure we were in safe and had a great experience. We really appreciated the discount trolley ride tickets! I wouldn’t hesitate to stay in the property again.

The place had everything we needed, was walking distance to everything we wanted to see, and had great parking near the door. very comfortable bed, and the laundry facilities were a nice touch, as well. would definitely recommend! cheers!

The space was decorated to impress!!! Pictures are just as good as the real thing! Nights in were comfortable, kitchen has all you need & really comfy bed. Parking was private & very easy access to the home. We learned after this trip how valuable parking is and appreciate not having to pay for it.
Located very close to the main Savannah attractions, bikes provided for convenient travel but we walked alot as well. We only had a short time here & wished it were longer. We would come back here again!

A clean, comfortable, and efficient stay in Savannah -- Plus, Chuck & Jonathan are excellent communicators and were always available via message for quick replies before and during our stay, answering anything that will be helpful from recommendations to house questions. The apartment is near the west end of Forsyth Park, but walking to the river front is very doable. Having private parking right near the place is a great perk, and the actual place was very modern with all the amenities provided to make your stay painless and enjoyable. I'll look forward to using Chuck & Jonathan again the future and would recommend them to all!

Parents with younger children might consider bringing their own baby gate for the steep stairs and/or a portable high chair. Otherwise, there isn’t a suitable place for children under 5 to eat comfortably.

There were moments we could hear some loudness from whoever was staying next to us (loudness, rough-housing, etc) – but this did not impose upon our trip.
